How often should the MONILOG® data logger be calibrated?
To ensure the accuracy of the measurement data, we recommend sending your RISK LOGGER to SMT ELEKTRONIK every two years.
Simply contact your account manager or contact our support team.
Where can I get the calibrate certificate for my MONILOG® data logger?
The certificate will be delivered to you after successful calibration service.
I have special requirements for a data logger. Can the MONILOG® data loggers be adapted to this?

Can external sensors be connected to the MONILOG® data logger?
You can also connect external sensors to measure further data. Temperature, relative humidity and absolute air pressure can be recorded.
How do I protect my MONILOG® data logger from external access?
The MONILOG® RISK LOGGER can be protected against unauthorised persons with a password and specific accesses. Further information can be found in the user manual. Our support team will be at your disposal to set up the security settings.
Can I borrow an MONILOG® data logger for testing?
We are happy to provide you with a RISK LOGGER as a rental device for a small extra charge. Should you decide to purchase, your deposit will be offset.

Where can the MONILOG® data logger be mounted?
The data logger can be mounted directly on or in the product / the product packaging. Magnetic feed, among other things, provide optimal grip.

How can I exchange the battery of the data logger?
The MONILOG® data loggers are equipped with batteries with a life of up to three years.
If the device is regularly handed over to our calibration service, it will receive new batteries in this context.
The battery change is described in detail in the user manual. Should there be any further problems, please contact our support team.
How can I exchange the battery of the data logger?
Why are shock values not monitored and displayed?
- The shock values are recorded in an event-driven manner. This means that only if the configured thresholds are exceeded, the shock values are saved.
In addition, some devices offer a motion recorder function with continuous recording of peak values. - The impact was below the configured registration threshold.
- No shock duration was specified.

How do I know the remaining life of my battery?
The actual remaining battery cell charge is monitored by the data logger itself and is displayed with the MONILOG® software when reading it out.
You will find the display of the remaining battery life under Configurations.
Where can I find the smartphone app for the MONILOG® ShockDisplay curve 2 plus and MicroShockDetector plus?
How can the recorded data be analysed?
The configuration cannot be saved or loading is not possible. What is to be done?
What should I do when I get the error message “It is not possible to read the data”?
Check if the MONILOG® PC software associated with the data logger is installed. Make sure the MONILOG® data logger is connected to the PC via USB cable. If you cannot connect to the device, disconnect and reconnect the cable.
